Open Sun & UV Safety ResourcesSafety First, Not Fashion First
Many kids' sunglasses — aviators, cat-eyes, and other open-frame shapes — leave gaps around the eyes where light sneaks in from the sides. That can cause a child's pupils to dilate, which lets in more UV exposure, not less. It might look cute, but it isn't real protection.
BANZ® wraparound sunglasses are built the opposite way: full coverage on every side, so there's no gap for light to sneak through. It's the design an eye doctor would choose for a toddler who can't tell you if the sun is bothering them.
Find the Right Fit
BANZ® sunglasses are grouped by age range with adjustable straps that grow with your child, so you don't have to guess:
- Baby (0–2): Soft, adjustable neoprene strap for a stay-put fit.
- Toddler (3–5): Wraparound frames sized for smaller faces, still adjustable.
- Kids (5–9+): Wider frames with the same full-coverage protection.
Between sizes? We recommend sizing up for a few extra months of wear. View full size charts →
